Psalms 91:11 - For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Lesson: You have an Angel attached to you whose duty is to constantly watch and keep you in all your ways
Challenge: Do you think you should have any reason to fear any more? Though you may not see him but he’s right there with you

Thursday, 19 – 11 – 2009

Psalms 91:12: They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Lesson: They are able to bear up the saints out of the reach of danger, and they do it with all the tenderness and affection as the nurse carries the little child about in her arms
Challenge:  The angels also keep the feet of the saints, lest they ‘dash them against a stone’ lest they stumble and fall into sin and into trouble.

Friday, 20 – 11 – 2009

Psalms 91:13: Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

Lesson:  The devil is called a roaring lion, the old serpent, the red dragon; so that to this promise the apostle seems to refer in that (Rom 16:20, The God of peace shall tread Satan under your feet).
Challenge: The devil is put under my feet and he remains there as long as I am in tune with God – its automatic.

Saturday, 21– 11 – 2009

Psalms 91:14: Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
Lesson: Deliverance and promotion are for those who love God.
Challenge: Do you love God? Then you are delivered and promoted, that’s what this verse says, not me.

Sunday, 22 – 11 – 2009

Psalms 91:15: He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
Psalms 91:16: With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Lesson: More blessings for those who love the Lord – Answers to all their prayers, divine presence, deliverance and honour, loooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg life and salvation.
Challenge: Just love God then all your prayers will be answered. The problem is many love Him with their mouths but their hearts is far from Him. If you want to have/enjoy long life, then love God.

It is often said that the way up is down. This connotes humility. I will focus on the subject humility for this week. Happy reading

Lesson: Before honour is humility. This means that in putting the horse before the cart, humility comes first.
Challenge: Get it right – there cannot be honour except you are humble.

This week, I shall focus on the benefits or blessings that accrue to us as a result of praise. Or simply put, ‘Praise Magic’. Having come this far this year and with the hope for a brighter future, if you and I cultivate the habit of praising God, then He will do (for you) much more than you can imagine.

Monday, 07 – 12 – 2009

Exodus 15:11: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

Lesson: There is no god like Jehovah
Challenge: God is fearful (can do wonderful and fearful things) when we praise Him. Go ahead and praise the Lord

Tuesday, 08 – 12 – 2009

2Chronicles 5:13: It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

Lesson:  The Lord has been good to us and for sure His mercies will endure forever
Challenge: The house was filled with a cloud as they praised the Lord. This is unimaginable but happened so also today as we praise the Lord unimaginable things will definitely happen in our lives.

Lesson: Praise the Lord in beauty of holiness
Challenge:  if physical battles could be fought by just praising God, how much more spiritual ones!

Monday, 14th December 2009: I KNOW NOTHING

“For I know nothing by myself: yet am I not hereby justified:but he that judgeth me is the Lord” (1 Corinthians 4:4).

Note:
Wise men know that they do not know enough. They are aware of their lack and usually do everything they could to increase their knowledge. Only fools and proud people boast about their little knowledge. It is said that he who knows not and knows that he knows not is a student, train him. But he who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool, leave him.

Challenge: Empty barrels make much noise. see your emptiness, so you can receive the fullness of God's grace.
