What I think about them is that I have seen graduates from that department turn into big shots in UK, US, Canada, Nigeria and all over the world. Most of them have turned out to work for the largest tel communication, engineering and even IT companies all over the world. They have represented us well and UNN is proud of them. My prayer is that the present crop of students in that department toe the good footsteps of theose who were there before them.

Nwanasukka - this is why I say that "yesterday is gone forever" with it's glory. We are talking of the present students and not those who have graduated...

I heard that best programmers in the school are from the department and the produce first class every year. Their lecturer I guess is acommodating......but my problem with them is that anything engineering in this school, is deadly.

Okwyjesus - what do you mean by "anything engineering in this school, is deadly"?. We are talking of results. If they produce the best Programmers like you said, then I would interpret your mention of being deadly as "hard work" or being hard working.

One good thing about them is their slogan...Centre of Excellence. Though they have got good heads but they have not proved to be the best. i think they do feel bigger than they are.

The fir class...well deeper look explains why.

Well, i think most electronic engineering students come in with the best JMB and WAEC results, are basically focused, acquire skills on programming and electronic circuit design on their own or with the help of design clubs (EEDIC, BKADD) and finally leave school with the best grades. their lecturers aint easy one bit cos i'm a student of the department.
