A wonderful job indeed...! kudos to all the forumists. I really don't know how and where to get the departmental cutoff marks. I took the UNN post UME exam last year.I had an aggregate of 229 in my jamb and I applied for pharmacy.The questions for each subject were 15 just as someone stated above and each question carries 1.5(one and a half) mark,making a total of 60. Now i got 10 in Eng, 7 in phy, 9 in Chem.and 8 in Bio.A total of 34/60 and an aggregate of 227/400. Then adding my jamb score which was 229 to the post ume score, it gave    456 with an ave.of 228,yet i was'nt admitted despite the fact the the school had mass failure last year. The worst was that i was denied even the supplementary in which i went for combined biological science.Pls anybody who knows what to say about it should say if it is fair or not...I'm all ears.

Did you find out what the average PUME+UME cut-off was for people admitted into Pharmacy? I could be that your average didn't meet up with the cut-off.

Well i heart rumours that the dept.cutoff was 245 but was'nt sure bcos i did'nt knw the source.Now wat abt the supplementary.....assuming i  was'nt qualified to be admitted for my score in pharmacy. To tell u the truth,i dnt believe that they go by merit bcos i knw of a very good friend of mine whose score was below mine,yet he was admitted,u too knws the runns.

I will rather suggest you forget all that happened last yr and work for the now and u must also have at the back of ur mind that nobody is against your coming here, if you do well even the devil cant say no. Thats the mindset of a winner

Read your jamb past questions thoroughly, they are used to asking from there. Also, keep in mind that time is key. Just to point out that the strike has nothing to do with the exams. All the best 2 u all!
