@jeo
These your codes are really confusing. I mean I've never seen wap.mtnonline.com/gwt/n?
I thought gwt stood for google wireless transcoder, a service that transcodes webpages for mobile devices, and that it usually goes with google.com/gwt/...etc.
Anyway, I will test your suggestions but meanwhile, here is one I know is working right now in some nokia phones [ n series, etc].
Install opera mod 206, and go to settings. Under Network, put
http://wap.mtnonline.com%2f%@server.operamini.com. Make sure to uncheck reset at server error. That's all.
I tested the above in my n95 and it's working perfectly well. By the way, it can you can also use just
music.mtnonline.com@server.operamini...etc and wap.mtnonline.com%2f%3a%00a@server.opera....
And yes sometimes, you can open specific sites in your inbuilt nokia browser by preceding the site with the codes above but my experience is that it's quite easy fpr the network to block your requests.
If you're lower model nokia phones [ 6230, 6230i, 3110c, etc], try this:
wap.mtnonline.com%2f%3a%00a@google.com.ng
But I think the best deal is for those using their laptops to browse. There are a number of software you can use previously [most blocked now by their providers not our networks] but there's one working with three of the mobile networks currently.
Pls I'm not going to post it here cos I don't think it's right. I mean we're talking hacking here but if you need it, drop me a line at
