When i entered UNN we had a strong voice speaking up for us: The SUG, but towards the end of my stay in UNN every thing changed. I really need to know if the alumni can save the situation because it really hurt me to see the students just accept anything even when it was not right. The student's right are not protected anymore so im calling on alumni to proffer the way forward. Thank u
I think one way forward could be for the alumni to start getting together and start thinking of projects that could benefit the University. For instance, the alumni could donate several buses to the University to help students commute. That way, the shuttle buses could see their fares going down.
I also think the alumni could arrange to pay a visit to the VC and other board/council members at least ones every quarter and access what projects they're executing, etc and even offer to help in executing some projects.
I think the alumni should start coming back to the University to give seminars and talk shows that could help let incumbent SUG members realize that live does not end on campus. I think, I think, I think...
