Do guys think homosexuals, especially gays, should be seen as criminals in Nigeria? Does it violate our faith and culture for a man to marry a fellow man and a woman to marry a fellow woman and have sex with person of same sex?

This BBC article below is interesting:

Homosexual activities is a taboo, and it shouldn't be allowed in any in naija. Finally gays shud be put in a stake and burnt 2 ashes or they shud be ostracized cos they are cursed and demented by evil spirits.

Gay or whatever it is called should be seen as a crime to humanity and the society at large. Homosexuality is against ones morality/ethics. If God had wanted same sex to happen, I believe he would not have taken woman/Eve out from man/Adam. It’s against/violation of our faith our culture and norms. In physics it is said that north and north poles refrain while north and south poles attract. Let us not quickly forget that everything in this world is two. So why should one engage in such a habit that diminishes ones image, while should one engage in a relationship that he/she cannot be proud to tell people that he/she is into? While should one engage in a relationship knowing that he/she is not fulfilling one of the instructions given to us by God Almighty to be fruitful and multiply? Why should one engage in a relationship that you and I know that the companionship you enjoy is fake, why should one engage in a relationship that he/she knows that both of you are having the same sex organ? I need an answer before I will continue with my assertions.

I buy all your arguments. In the western world, these guys walk tall. It's even more disgusting when you get on the train, a public train, and you see a guy openly kissing and romancing his fellow guy whom he has tagged either as his boyfriend or girlfriend depending on which "sex" he has chosen to represent.

The thing is that folks like these in 9ja are beginning to gather guts because they think these things are normal way of life outside 9ja. Should even family members allow these folks to still remain part of their family? Should the government be as strict as arresting such identified individuals? How can we prevent young people from getting involved in these kind of act as they grow up?

Most people think these things start with guys that attended Boy's School - same with babes that attended Girl's schools. Is it true?

Fags in 9ja r learning 2 do their shitz in public these dayz, i wonder where dey r gettin der gutz frm.... I also passed tru d seminary, and i noticed sum homosexual acts being practiced in there, d convents for aspiring sisters aint left out.
@ Dr Tony, i'm not harsh, i'm just spittin my mind...fags r very wicked by nature, wen u visit a police holding cell or a prison yard and ask d inmate of their various ordeal wit faggots, den u wud understand why i said dey(faggots) shud be treated wit so much hatred and disdain.

TUFIAKWA IHE OJOH

Those set of people are a Taboo in a Nigerian society. They dont belong and even they cry from today till tomorrow they wont belong. l learnt they protested against Nigeria during our bid for commonwealth games that Nigeria dont allow gays. Infact, they should look for another name they will call that man to man unionism and woman to woman unionism because it is not marriage.

In as much as we want to see them as criminals, demons etc. I must tell you that in the University of Nigeria alone. there are so many of them. I think the girls are more in number and their craft is almost like normal now cos most girls re into it. This evening I saw a couple(girl + girl) behind flat.
I strongly wish to stand on Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!! but as a scientist, I have to be objective atleast for the seek of knowledge.

See, I don't think u can change this people since they are creeping in our unis. most of this people are initiated right from their secondary school days. I think govt should ban same sex only boarding/day school. atleast that is the way to minimize it. Oz abeg come carry me if you wan go look them again for flat. becos he be lyk say na only you dey see dem. and e b like say na odd hours u dey waka 4 nyt abi
