I'm just wondering if the alumnus of this great institution is doing anything at all to help the University. For instance, since UNN now has the largest University library in West African, can the alumnus help in stocking it with books? What impact do they make in the university?

Definetely, a library without modern day technological gadgets like fast computers won't work. I agree the alumnus should start donating computers to the library. I have some alumnus around me and I'll start talking to them along this line.

Action is needed not words. Just today dat I checkd my account balance on MTN. I saw a msg dat MTN has helped provide digital library in UNILAG, ABU, and UNN. My question is where are these libraries. Calypso, Our librarian in da house over to U

It's sad that these companies use things like this to market themselves and deceive the public in believing in their claims. Actually, in the western world, it's companies like MTN that make so much money from students that sponsor setting up infrastructures such as equipping the Library.

Let's pray that this will happen someday soon or some good Samaritan could talk sense into them Smiley
