NUGA resumes today with an opening ceremony in an uncompleted stadium. The track for athlete is not marked yet as the stadium still carries no sign that track event will hold on the stadium. Information avaliable said that athlete are demanding they should be taken down to PH for the track event as they cannot run on mere asphalt track that is hard as an express road.

Nothing much to show in the much publicized NUGA UNN

I wonder if the University authority will consider moving the track event to PH. That would amount co co-hosting between UNN and UNIPORT - funny stuff.

GOOD START FOR TEAM UNN

Team UNN put up an impressing performance in today's game justifing the long preparation and money lavished on them.

In MALE FOOTBALL team UNN won Ambrose Alii University by 2 goals to nothing.
In MALE VOLLEYBALL they won 3/0
in FEMALE VOLLEYBALL they won Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture 3/1
In MALE BASKETBALL they won  and also in FEMALE BASKETBALL the won Tai Solarin University of Education.

Apology to fellow forumite for not attaching pictures to this corner,am making arrangement for that ......keep in touch

GAMES BEGIN WITH FULL FORCE

Despite uncompleted infrastructure, games in the 22nd Edition of NUGA GAMES UNN resumes yesterday with full force. Most old infratructure was quickly given an emegency renovation to make it managable for the game. While PAA was quickly converted to cricket hall, Ekpo convocation hall was converted to Judo Hall.

Meanwhile work is at top speed in the track lane of the main stadium suggesting that the track event may still hold in Nsukka after the completion before weekend contrary to the earlier rumour that track event will be shifed to PH
