Latest information reaching us here at NigeriaScholar clearly indicates that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) has finally put an end to her two months old strike embacked on the 5th of December, 2011.

The source of this information is very reliable. Complete details about this suspension as not yet being made by ASUU or the FG, but it was clearly noted on the ASUU Twitter page that the strike as being suspended and Lectures were directed by the Academic Union, (ASUU) to go back to the class room.

I just thank God.i had serious faith the strike would have been called off by today.extraneous delay frm asuu is an indirect rebellion to our progress.we sholudn't waste timme and a problem for most students excluding me is of d essence of how they would rish-up in this our institutes with unreached and substandard level of digested academeics.this mediocre sydromne may make students who are suppose to be excellent in if due protocols were observed to start being unprepared.this incessant strikes is just a distraction to the nigerian student

@Collinsreal, gr8 post. I understand your pain and point of view. It affected each and every one of us in one way or the other. It should also be noted that some student are not happy about this suspension. I over heard some students debating this topic in my street. But, which ever different point of view we all may have, we just have to understand that  this is a good thing for our education system.

I also want to use this medium to plead to each and every one of us to share this forum to your friends, family, and colleagues. The way this forum is going is no longer encouraging. We all have to try to help this wonderful innovation to keep on striving and flying. If you love this forum, you will do it and more for this blessed forum. I'm imploying all to see this as a way to say 'Thank You' to UNNFORUM for everything it has done for you.

In one way or the other this forum as imparted positively in our lifes. I love UNNFORUM, what about you?
