Let me start by congratulating you on your admission into the great faculty of law,University of Nigeria, the firt law faculty in Nigeria; count yoursèlf not just lucky but blessed knowing the number of persons that contested for the position you are now occupying.
I am Walter Abah (fondly called Viva la Walter) a 2nd yr law student and a stakeholder in the faculty Exco,as u will find out for yourself when you come in.
My mission here is to offer you assistance as regard registration and other sundry faculty issues. I did not have this opportunity last year and so did my classmate and i know how much we suffered during our registration. The reason is that the faculty you are entering is the busiest and law students have little or no time of their own.

So feel free to ask me your myriad of questions. If need be i will give out my number later.

U're welcom C.J! Law faculty officially resumed 2day 14/10/11, lectures stat 17/10/11 (old students), ur registration stats on 20/10/11....I wil paste d requirement later.,

Clearance Requirements:

1. Admission slip
2. O' level result (Lit-in-Eng a must)
3. Birth certificate
4. L.G identification letter
5. UNN screening result
6. Jamb online result
7. Letter of attestation (parent/guardian)
8. Student profile (from www.unnportal.com)
9. Acceptance fee online print out...

NB: UR CLEARANCE BEGINS ON 17/10/11 ALSO...

D much i can tell u if am not mistaken is dat UNN stopped diploma programme during Nebo's regime as V.C...

i spoke wit d faculty officer on monday about ur class and he assured me ur clearance starts on 17/10/11. Nextime u come jus walk straight to his office and knock, he is a good man and has listening ear. I wil inbox u d number.. Cheerio!

there is disparity but it has not amounted to a confusion,excerpt u are prompting one. Law faculty and college of medicine enjoys autonomy 4rm UNN academic calendar,dats why UNN officially re-opens on 20/10/11 for d old lions(esses) while law faculty resumed 2day 14/10/11,lectures stat 17/10/11. D reason is dat law faculty runs concurrent calendar wit Nigeria Law School. It may interest u also to know dat medical students didn't go on break but are still in session...But dats for anoda discourse...
