It shud b worth knwng dat Utme comprises of 50 questns of whch over 30 of dm are A levl questns.You'll recal dat Nigerian systm of educatn makes use of O level nd dis means dat d studnts make use of O level text books,indicatng dat d students are mostly O level inclined, hence d nd 2 get entangld to some A level txt bks 4 u 2 b wel equipd.

As a jamb candidate u shud buy bks such as

1) chemistry
2)physics
3)use of english
4)biology
All diz bks are A levl bks intended 2 broadn knwledge al writn by jamb lectures.
Cell as u studied it in sec sch,isnt hw it is in A level.4 instance did u knw dat d liquid portn of a cell is cald CYSTOL or did u knw dat both d MYCELIA nd d HYPHAE are calld SPORANGIA oda wise cald AERIAL HYPHAE,etc.ALL ths are A level questns u can only get in d university,HSC programme or tutorial bks.Play your ball well.

U are advisd nt 2 start up wit d comprehension aspect of dis paper as rampant movement,lots of announcements nd strict invigilations are at its peak nw.Go 2 d lexis nd structure,ans d 1c u knw swiftly nd quickly cm bk 2 d comprehension.Read d questn first or d passage first,whch ever soots u.Jamb comprehensn questns requires u 2 understnd d pasage fairly wel.havng read d passage,pick 1 questn den refer 2 d comprehensn.Ths is bc in englsh new ideas are laid in nw paragraphs.now assuming d questn is on 'effect of alcoholism on a young man',go 2 d paragraph nd skim 2ru it.definitely dia MUST b a paragraph dat deals wit dat headng. try 2 combine ideas cos definitely d ans wud nt b clearly writn dia.for general questns lik 'sugest,wht doz d author...',require ur sense of judgement.Normally,d topic sentence whch givs u clue of d ACCURATE topic cud either b found at d begining,middl or end of a paragraph.for d oral al u nd is 2 study d rules perfectly well.lastly dnt leav a comprehensn questn vacant much less a whole passage.

well done franc..........to those taking jamb exams, read as much as you can, solve all past questions you could get, don't panic in the exam hall, no tension!, understand the question b4 shading, don't be too fast, employ speed & accuracy, answer all question, complete all the preliminary shadings to avoid missing script,  alway commit every thing to God  .......@ fort,   the school fees depend on the faculty,  e.g., fac. of health science paid #40600,  med sci>43350.   these are the ones am sure of but some others paid within 38000>40000.  acceptance fee: 25000,  male hostel:9000, female hostel:11500.

pls my fellow forumites lets think wise,'a wise candidate should choose 2 different versities with most preffered as 1st choice  and another versity usually state as 2nd choice with low competive course'by jamb chairman during an interview held in abuja.I Think it helps cus my friend was admitted in futo in 2010 after scoring 178 in utme and 302 in putme with 2nd choice.Tell me if he chosed unn as 1st and 2nd choice,would he had gone 4 putme?.so pls think wise.
