why? its simple physics. newtown's law of gravitational attraction states that the force of attraction and the distance between bodies are in inverse proportion. hence at that distance 4rm d centre of the earth(space) the gravitational attraction is not big enuf to pull ur weight. hence the gravity pull on u is minute. 4 a bigger mass it'll just go into orbit. see? SIMPLE PHYSICS!!

so just did some research and it turns out that astronauts can indeed cry in
space. Tears run down your face
because of gravity, but they
don't need gravity to form.
When the tears get big enough
they simply break free of the
eye and float around...
...so there!

ACTUALY THERE IS GRAVITY IN SPACE BUT ITS NOT LARGE ENUF TO PULL YOUR WEIGHT OR THE WEIGHT OF A COIN OR THAT OF A DROP OF WATER. ITS 'MINUTE.' ITS ACTUALLY GRAVITY THAT KEEPS THE SATELITES PLUS THE MOON IN ORBIT.
