WHY DO YOU THINK PEOPLE GO INTO PROFESSIONAL STEALING (gun or no gun)?

After the theft incidence in the early hours of yesterday (thank God the thief was caught) I have been wandering what is it that make pple to go into stealing. We have categories;petty thief,pick pocket,burglar,robbers,armed robbers,419,kleptomaniacs...etc you will see a student with a bright future going into hostels to steal,you see children of Billionaires stealing what is not worth #1,000.
what on earht will make one to go into this degrading act of THEFT?
PLS I NEED YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS

some were destined 2 be thiefs,some where introduced 2 it while growin up but cant stop it nw cos its part of dem nw.some out of lack,wants n frustratn.4 some its deir hobby they derive pleasure in it.some do it full time while some part time so pple dont hav d idea dey indulge in such.

Do you really thing GOD, in His infinite mercy, will destine someone HE created, to be a thief? I think not! No body is destined for evil, infact we are all destined for great things. It has to be some other factor...........

I dont bliv anybody was born to steal...we  meet am for this world...some conquerd it while some were conquerd by it..what i bliv are d cos of stealing is the love for material things of the world,self centerdness(always thinking of ones sef which is mostly common with politicians),act of satisfying all one's desire (even when d resources required to satisfy them is limited),lack of patient,lazyness,environment etc..

I disagree. Please, explain why you think so. So, if Papa is a thief, does it mean Grand papa was a thief and boy-o-boy will also likely be a thief?

Though pple're nt born 2 steal bt most of dem might hav had parents dat were cursed 2 steal frm generation 2 generation, diaby transferin 2 a guy dat probably hav been destined great. Dey can't jst help it. I've seen similar case, wereby dey can't see gud tins pass witout touchin it. Dough most of dem ar nt professionals ie dey ar easily caught.

u must b kidding me if u are using heredity to backup ur point or claim...have u eva heard of d word mutation? i bet if u truely knw d meaning of dat word u wont ve even think of mentioning  heredity as a point in backing up ur claims dat some were born to steal...like my fello forumite has said,it is only a cursed generation dat can b born stealing but i dont expect such to still exits after christ has come to take away our sins n show us the way to salvation which is through him...it is only possible for those born in darkness and knws notin about Jesus Christ..
