Dear Forumites,
Let me start by thanking all of you for your great contribution to this citadel of learning, information dissemination and knowledge sharing. Together, we have accomplished so much this. Together, we have given hopes t the hopeless by giving them the right information. Together, we have rightly informed the mis-informed. Together, we have fought those who worked against the principles of this forum. Yes, we have learned from one another - we have learned that we and we alone can make the Nigeria of our dream. We have learned that if Nigeria is to move forward to the land of milk and honey, it'll take the beautiful people of the beloveth nation like all of us to make it happen. There's so much to talk about, but there'll be time for us to share our testimonies of how the forum impacted our lives - we'll do that before the end of the year - yes, we'll have a forum THANKSGIVING section here before or after Christmas.
For now, it's time you us to recognize those who have gone extra miles to make huge impacts to the forum. UNNFORUM is about 2 years old and we started the special recognition award last year. UNNFORUM is a democratic society, so, we allow our forumites to nominate and vote for certain categories of people we want to recognize specially.
So, here's a call for nomination of forumites to be voted for under the following categories:
1. Overall UNNFORUM Forumite of the year 2010
2. Most Committed UNNFORUM Forumite of the year 2010
3. Most Humorous UNNFORUM Forumite of the year 2010
4. Most Supportive UNNFORUM Forumite of the year 2010
Here is what you need to do:
Think through all the threads in the forum this year, interactions with people on the forum, etc and say who you want to nominate for the above categories. Yes, you can nominate one person for more than one category. Bear in mind that Phronesis is the electoral officer and is therefore exempted from being nominated.
What happens next:
The nomination will be open until 18th December and after that voting will start for the nominated people. Voting will be open for one week after which we will announce winners of the various categories and present them with awards.
