Yes, you are correct. I am a Nigerian based in Ukraine, and one of the Directors of the Ogu consulting services. However, other members of the team, are non-Nigerians, but they also understand and offer feed back to this thread.
Some of the feedback you receive are not actually from me directly, but another member of the web promotion team. Over time, increased experience and with repeated practice, we have come to understand different versions of conversational English, because we deal with different clients daily.
Notice the repeated "we" in our posts. This is because we function as a team. Our team is composed of myself, a Nigerian, some Ukrainians, middle and far east. Believe it or not, the next reply to this thread might not come from me, but because we are synchronized and represent a singular interest, any member of the web promotion team knows exactly what to reply professionally.
We have different threads in different forums, and this is the only way we can monitor and send prompt feedback.
So, Ejibond, do not be baffled about our understanding of pidgin. Mine is natural, other members acquired it over time.
Personally, I advocate for the use of pidgin English as an official language in Nigeria. Maybe just rename it to Nigerian language and then create some standards and borrow from the English lexicon for technical terminologies. Pidgin, in Nigeria, completely defines "language" in the contextual meaning of the term "language".
That's it for now.
To your education success, and lots of fun.
