Success- graduating with good class- in the university of Nigeria, Nsukka depends on a very large in understanding the science of Grade Point Average(GPA), One thing you must know here is that almost everybody here are up and doing, that is why anybody can comfortably that you that Nsukka is not by intelligence, it is all about hardwork, diligence and your problem solving approach.

Here are some terminologies that might be helpful in GPA calculation:
1) Point weigh: This is a number numerically equivalent to the letter grades.
2) Grade Point(GP): is the product of the point weight and the credit load
3) Grade Point Average(GPA) this is derived by dividing the sum of the grade points by the total credits unit.

Grading system in UNN

Forumites, I want you all to know that one can make a First Class and a pass, its up to you.

My Advise: Boys find the right friends who can motivate you to noble action cos if you choose the wrong crowd. Girl, abeg find a good boyfriend, why i say find is that you know its your choose that comes to you. Look for a guy that is sound cos at the end of the day one person MUST come around and u gonna say YES. that might either b d beginning or the very end. If you dont listen to this humbly submission, you will wake-up in your second yr, second semester and by than it will take the host of Heaven under the command of God himself to change d situation.   CHEERS!!!

I suppose we should start with the right questions, That is how do I make my GPs before calculation.
To calculation your GP. Let say these are the list of courses you will offer

What you do is to times your grade unit with course unit, which will give you the CGP. Then you will plus your CGP together and divide it with the course unit. Let say course unit is 20 point and you cumulative grade point (CGP) 86, then 86 divided by 20 will give us 4.3 that is 2 1. Hope I have been able to solve the one.
