When I was growing up and still in the University, I often hear girls telling their Toasters ""lets just be friends". I've always wondered if they always really meant it. What do you think? I think it's better to just be friends and wait till the right time  |

Actually, most girlz do mean this coz most times when a girls tells a guy that they shud remain friends, it is obvious that they are friends but she does not want to get involved with him romantically.
Some girls use it as a phrase to "play hard 2 get" that is to give the guys "tough time."
Others hu r probably 2 shy 2 accept advances from a guy could use this as an indirect way of accepting.

Now bak to d thread,i think they are not yet ready for a relationship with a guy by saying "lets just be frnds" or maybe they wanna study d guy character to knw if he's d type they really wants for a relationship or maybe they already ve a boyfriend and so does not wnt to get involve with another guy or maybe they dont want d guy to think otherwise by giving an instant yes to his proposal....
