Ezennog Anayo, 40, who claims to be an importer of female slippers, is now a guest of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Lagos after discharging 52 wraps of items suspected to be cocaine from his system. His problems started after confiding in a friend that he was desperate to do anything that would bring him immediate wealth. The friend, whose name he gave as Sunday, reportedly introduced him to the drug trade. Anayo, who hails from Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State, said he struck a deal with Sunday to swallow cocaine and discharge them in Pakistan.
