APGA gubernatorial candidate and incumbent governor of Anambra state has been decleared winner of the governorship election in anambra state. The results of the top three are as follows - MR OBI -97843 votes, CHRIS NGIGE - 60240 votes, and SOLUDO - 59365 votes.

The result of the election sent surges of hope into me. Nigeria is working! I hail INEC on the peaceful conduct of the election and Mr. peter obi on his VICTORY.

Congrats to the re-elected governor but I think there is much more power in incumbency. Other contestants registered dissatisfaction with the conduct of the election so, it isn't over yet!

Sori o Ejibond, but I must ask you why do you say u support the 'NO' Stand by Ngige? From all indications it seems the elections were conducted quite fairly, although only time will tell the extent to which fairness was employed. All the same CONGRATS to Gov. Obi.

I like the Anambra Spirit. It makes me begin to regain hope on Nigerian Politics. Its no longer a do-or-die thing as even Andy Uba has personally visited Obi to congratulate him on his victory.
