This command to civic duties and obligations came as an answer to the hypocritical Jews who sought to take hold of Christ’s words.
The great lesson we find here is that regardless of our Christian conviction(s), we have legitimate obligations to the government as well.. While we recognize our duty and obligations to ‘Caeser’, we must honour God as the highest authority.

We have been told times without number that the cassock does not make a monk and putting it to the religious, the robe does not equal to righteousness.
Hypocrites fill their heads with doctrines while their hearts are empty. Church members or leaders who carry title should watch it.
The Hypocrites, though joyous @ the moment because their sins are covered will eventually be destroyed [Job 15:34]

Lesson: After trusting in the Lord and you got helped what next? Praise Him
Challenge: What kind of songs do you sing? Do you actually praise God by those songs or you….(vilify Him)? Think about it

Can you think about God being against an individual? It happens when such person(s) decide to work and walk contrary to the ways of God, choosing to do evil and act wickedly to fellow men. God is angry with the wicked everyday and his fury is upon those who fight against his people, who are the apple of his eyes.
Standing on the opposite side of God is dangerous. If God be for you, no one can be against you but if God is against you, the whole world put together cannot deliver you. There is mercy today, come to Him while you may.
